In April a work team from Canada came to do maintenance work at the Center and to build a new house for Lucia, a very poor, very needy mother of two of our former students.  What a blessing they were.  While they were here another friend from Canada arrived at the Center  with a car full of computers, donated by one of the school districts in Canada.  Walter drove all the way from Canada through the States, Mexico and Guatemala with this very special gift for our girls.  You can only imagine the looks on their faces when they realized the computers were for them.  We have now started classes and these girls, most of whom have never even touched a computer before are well on their ways to learning how to type and use the computer.   Thank you to everyone that was on the work team, to Walter and to the school district in  Canada which donated the computers.
